30th – Rain’d all last night & still continues all day Wind N.E. Went to Town & attended Muster & Inspection of my company, which was afterwards dismiss’d the service of the United States. Din’d at Mr. Olivers in company with Gen. Scott & a very agreeable party, return’d home at 7 O’Clock

26th – Beautiful day, but very cool – Went to Town, din’d at S. Steretts with Wm. & Danl. Fitzhugh. Began ploughing in Gatchs Field ~
