May 22d. In sight of Teneriffe. Boarded the Sweedish Brig Saint Bartholemews, Chalmers, Master, from Gothenburg to St Barts. Cargo, Dry Goods, Glass, Paints, Cordage &c Let her pass.

21st – Went to Town & din’d at S. Steretts with the Governor & a large agreeable Party. At half past 2 O’Clock a Thunder Storm from N.W. with heavy Rain which continued with little intermission until midnight

19th – Fine day – Wind S.E. Went to Town by way of the Orchard, & laid off an additional room & Shed. Mrs. T returned home with Miss Meroney & S. Stewart. Return’d home to Dinner ~ At 8 O’Clock a heavy Thunder Storm and Rain from S.W. – for 3 hours –
