19 – Fine pleasant day, wind N.E. Went to Town, return’d to dinner – Rode to Furley & the Meadows ~

on July 19th
The first part of these 24 hours commences with light breezes and foggy weather. at 15 minutes PM fell in with and captured the British Rig Britannia. Capt. Snow, from St. Andrew, bound to Liverpool (Eng.), loaded with Lumber. Took out the prisoners, 6 in number, and burnt her. at 4 PM filled away and made sail. Head. as per Log.Middle and latter part same. Took in and made sail as occasion required.
