4th Sunday – Exercis’d my Men at Sunrise near the Hospital, & after breakfast rode to see Wm. Bowly, who is very unwell – Had the following Gentlemen at Dinner, Col Ragan, Jacob Hollingsworth, Jo. These 24 hours commences with light Breezes and clear. At 4 PM spoke a Portuguese ship from Rio Janeiro bound to Lisbon 120 days out.

Middle part light Breezes and clear weather.

Latter part same. The watch Employed in repairing the rigging and sails fore & aft.
