14th Dec. Weather still cool & ground cover’d with Snow, Wind N.W. Went to Town, din’d with L. Godwin. Sent to Furley for the three Mares recd. from D.A. Smith on 6th Nov. to keep in Fromentines Field, they are in very fine condition

27th May – Thunder with a few light Showers this morning, but afterwards clear’d up very fine, Wind N.W. Mr. Gale & Mr. Holliday breakfasted with us – Went to Town return’d to Dinner – Took Mrs. T. to see Mr. Browns family at Springfield. Mr. Henry Williams sent out a Colt to Pasture ~

22nd May – Sunday – Fine cool day Wind N.W. Took a ride on my new Horse Roderick, and I like him very much – S. Sterett, Jas. Sterett and H. Moore din’d with us, and F. Bowly, Eliza & Maria Peters drank Tea & Staid all Night ~

8 May Sunday – Fine cool day Wind N.W. Rode over to the Meadows. Mr. Oliver paid me a visit. Mrs. T & Miss Merony walk’d to Church and din’d at P. Wirgmans. S. Sterett and his son George, also Wm. Courtenay din’d with me, afterwards Mr. Allen, Koning & Jo. Sterett call’d and sat an Hour. Sent to Town for a Gray Horse purchas’d for me by Mr. Allen ~

7th – Fine warm day, went to Town and dined at Gadsbys. Purchased a Roane Colt Horse, six years old for $130. Mr. & Mrs. Harper – Mr. & Mrs. Jn. Moore came out and drank Tea ~

4th – Fine warm day Therm. 80 – Mrs. T went with me to Town & Mrs. Wirgman brot her out in the evening I return’d to Dinner ~ Took Jno. Foos Colt to Pasture @ $2.2 per month.
