7 – Clear mild day, Wind South – Went to Town, found Jn. G. Gamble who accompanied me to Dinner with the Directors of the Balt. Ins. Compy at Gadsbys, he returns home tomorrow

6th Sunday – Snowing at day light and continued until 11 O’Clock, then clear’d up with Wind at N.W. – Din’d at Home without company – D.A. Smith call’d to see us,. and in the evening Gen Ridgely, Chas & P. Wirgman, sat about an hour
