11th – Rain’d all Night with very high Wind at S.E. and the highest Tide in Town, I ever remember ~ Went to Town, return’d to Dinner and had the following company ~ Jn. 6th – Very fine day & warm Wind S. Mrs. T. & Charley accompanied me to Town, we return’d to Dinner. Jo. Patterson, Jacob Hollingsworth, Geo. Howard & Lloyd Rogers call’d in the evening & drank Tea ~ Paid Jn. Shangle & Jn. Bond $10 each and Charles $8 – Jn. Foos $40.

20th March – Sunday Fine cool day Wind about 10 A.M. fresh at N.W. Mrs. T. and three children went to Town, to stay a few days at Mr. Wirgmans. Edw. & Jo. Patterson call’d in the forenoon after which I rode to the Meadows and Furley where I din’d, in the evg. John VanWyck, Wm. Sterett, & Alex Stewart rode out & sat half an Hour~ Great many Wild Pigeons flying ~
