22nd May – Sunday – Fine cool day Wind N.W. Took a ride on my new Horse Roderick, and I like him very much – S. Sterett, Jas. Sterett and H. Moore din’d with us, and F. Bowly, Eliza & Maria Peters drank Tea & Staid all Night ~

21st – Went to Town & din’d at S. Steretts with the Governor & a large agreeable Party. At half past 2 O’Clock a Thunder Storm from N.W. with heavy Rain which continued with little intermission until midnight

19th – Fine day – Wind S.E. Went to Town by way of the Orchard, & laid off an additional room & Shed. Mrs. T returned home with Miss Meroney & S. Stewart. Return’d home to Dinner ~ At 8 O’Clock a heavy Thunder Storm and Rain from S.W. – for 3 hours –

8 May Sunday – Fine cool day Wind N.W. Rode over to the Meadows. Mr. Oliver paid me a visit. Mrs. T & Miss Merony walk’d to Church and din’d at P. Wirgmans. S. Sterett and his son George, also Wm. Courtenay din’d with me, afterwards Mr. Allen, Koning & Jo. Sterett call’d and sat an Hour. Sent to Town for a Gray Horse purchas’d for me by Mr. Allen ~
