October 15th
First part moderate Breezes and foggy weather. Watch employed repairing the Foresail.Middle part moderate Breezes and hazy weather. At 1 AM tacked ship.
Latter part same. At 6 AM saw a sail bearing SW. Gave chase. The sail proves to be a Schooner. Still in chase of her.
